candied pepper pecans

ingredients

¾ cups pecans
2 tsp corn syrup
2 tsp water
4 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp black pepper ground

 

directions

Place pecans in a mixing bowl and corn syrup and water. Toss well to completely coat pecans. Add 2 tsp of sugar, black pepper and mix pecans to coat thoroughly. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, place in mixing bowl and toss with 2 more tsp of sugar, cool and store in an airtight container.
